Intellectual Outputs

An analytical cumulative report on indicators used by providers in relation to EQAVET will be the project’s first output. The report will be a synthesis of national reports which will be based on a questionnaire examining the criteria, descriptors and indicators VET providers in the six consortium countries are currently using and how they correspond to EQAVET criteria, descriptors and indicators. The report will be disseminated through feedback workshops with providers and meetings with national reference point (NRP) and EQAVET expert group. Based on the feedback from these activities the final analytical cumulative Report will be elaborated.

During the project’s lifetime online guidelines will be developed indicating the alignment with EQAVET objectives at national level. The Guidelines specifically designed for the providers will work as a:

  • Method for interpretation of QA criteria with reference to national ones or to specific QA model  if national ones do not exist
  • Method for interpretation of QA descriptors with reference to national ones or to specific QA model  if national ones do not exist
  • Method for interpretation of QA indicators with reference to national ones or to specific QA model  if national ones do not exist
  • Method for alignment of existing QA cycle to EQAVET cycle

The guidelines will form a step by step procedure on “how to align with EQAVET”!

The project capitalises on the result of three projects carried out within the Leonardo da Vinci programme in three different partnerships coordinated by three different member states. Partners in this consortium have been engaged in all three projects namely: “CQAF-VET Online provider Online Model”, “EXPERO2EU” (http://www.expero2.eu/) and “Facilitating a Common Quality Assurance Framework through Peer Review for VET” (http://www.peer-review.gr/).

The result of these projects will be updated and integrated to the Guidelines on EQAVET for providers. The updating will be based on specific provider needs in relation to EQAVET criteria and descriptors. The updated online tool in terms of technical capacity and content will be tested by a sample of providers in each partner country and will cover the EQAVET quality assurance cycle (planning, Implementation, evaluation and review) as a practical methodology with recommendation and guides for step-by-step implementation with regards to national quality framework and existing models such as ISO and EFQM.
